Three arrested from Probation 'Top 10' list

by Emily Waldrep

Tyler County Sheriff's office, in conjunction with the probation department, has successfully arrested three of the subjects from Tyler County's Most Wanted list (June 3 through 10 edition) and has the citizens of Tyler County to thank.

Evan Michael Buchanan, age 23, of Woodville was arrested after being on probation for Burglary of a Habitation; Dustin Lane Coleman, age 22, was arrested after being on probation for Burglary of a Building; and Stacie Angela Sylvestine, age 40, of Livingston was arrested after being on probation for Driving While Intoxicated, third offense or more.

With the success of the Most Wanted probation list, Tyler County Sheriff Bryan Weatherford said that he will be compiling a new list, including the Top 10 Most Wanted outstanding felons.

"What we are going to be working on now is creating our own 10 Most Wanted that are not on probation," Weatherford said. "The Sheriff's office will be compiling and making known the top 10 most wanted misdemeanors and felons that aren't on probation, but still have outstanding warrants."

Unlike the probation department's list, these offenders will have not served any consequences for their actions yet.

"These will be significant felony 1 and felony 2 offenders," Weatherford said. "Any assaults on children or outstanding sexual assault cases will be sought out."

Weatherford also said that like the probation list, the public's help will be needed in bringing the Top 10 Most Wanted outstanding warrants into jail.

"We are asking the publics support and help on this because without your help, like I've always said since January, our job is almost impossible," Weatherford said.
