Kree Harrison was named to the Top 3 in American Idol Thursday, and spent the day in her hometown of Woodville, Tx Saturday. Her first stop was a press conference in Woodville at 8 a.m. There was extensive press coverage and lots of local folks turned out to ask her questions. Country super star and Southeast Texas native, George "Possum" Jones, passed away at 81 years of age on April 26, 2013 at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee after being hospitalized for fever and irregular blood pressure on April 18.

Tyler County Relay for Life April 26
The 2013 Relay For Life of Tyler County Survivor Dinner was held Saturday, April 20, at the Woodville Lion's Club. Cancer Survivors from all over the county were treated to an excellent BBQ lunch catered by Smoking Aces Bar-B-Q. The event was hosted by East Texas Home Health, Smoking Aces
