A house fire north of Warren completely destroyed a couple's home late Tuesday evening.

The home was located in the Lake Hyatt subdivision, and was the only home to receive any major damage.

First responders and firefighters on the scene reported that lightening struck the home during the storms on Tuesday and started the fire.

No one one was injured and the owners of the home were able to salvage their medications before the home was destroyed.

Warren First Baptist church is taking action and helping the family any way that they can after the loss of there home.
