The Woodville Eagles had a successful baseball season finishing second, behind Central Heights in District 22-AA this season. Woodville advanced to Area Round of the playoffs. Junior Torin Hickman was named CO-MVP along with Hunter Haley of Central Heights. Freshman Marqui Jackson earned Newcomer of the Year Honor, while Joe Wilroy was named Coach of the Year.
Sophomore Trent Daniels was named first team pitcher. Senior Quade Allison and Junior Grant Bullock were first team infielders along with senior Beau Burleson in the outfield. Two eagles earned Second Team Honors. Sophomore Chase Hensarling was selected as a pitcher and Junior Colby Dungan as an outfielder. Sophomore Charles Fentress earned Honorable Mention in the outfield. The future looks bright for the Eagles as seven of the All-Districts picks will be returning next season.
