Harboring criminals a really bad idea

Tyler County Sheriff's Corporal Mike Williams went to a Tyler County residence April 16, to serve a warrant on Jessica James, 49, of Colmesneil. Upon arrival, Anna James McIe, 53, of Smithville, informed the officer that James was not at the residence. Later the same day, Williams discovered McIe had lied to protect James. Both were arrested.
James was arrested on two warrants for bond forfeiture, $50,000 each. She remains in Tyler County jail. McIe, was arrested for hindering apprehension or prosecution. Her bond was set at $10,000.
