The varsity cheerleading squad will be led by Melissa Ramsey and assisted by the junior varsity cheer sponsor Marsha Watts. The girls have put in numerous hours preparing their cheers and stunts as well as attending camp at Moody Gardens this summer. They earned a spirit stick every night of camp and received a trophy for a superior performance. The Woodville Gold Varsity Cheerleaders are looking forward to a year filled with pride and spirit for our Eagles. Ramsey noted, "I am so excited about this season and this squad. These girls are working hard and they bring a great attitude every day to practice." The Lady Eagles volleyball team had the opportunity to scrimmage Hardin on Friday. The Lady Eagles had trouble with Lady Hornets' size and reading their hits. Coach Willis narrowed the potential varsity group down as they hosted Coldspring and Shepherd on Saturday.
