The Woodville Lady Eagles spent last week hosting its annual volleyball and basketball camp. The camp was directed by head volleyball coach Laura Willis, girls head basketball coach Troy Carrell, and assistant coaches Michelle Merchant and Kayla Conner. The three day camp focused on fundamentals, teamwork and hustle. According to Coach Willis, "The girl's skill level improved tremendously and they enjoyed participating in the camp."

While the younger girls were at camp the high school girls were hosting their annual summer league. Teams participating this year are Woodville, Warren, Colmesneil, Brookland's varsity and junior varsity, and Big Sandy. The Lady Eagles were in first place with a record of 4-0 entering last week. Both the first and second place teams will receive a bye heading into next week. The Lady Warriors are the third seed and will face 6th seeded Colmesneil in the first round. Tip-off is 6:00.
