Lady Warriors compete in Spring League

by Katie McCluskey

On Tuesday, May 13, the Warren High School Lady Warriors competed in their first volleyball spring league games. For the first game, taking place at 5 p.m., Warren 1 and Warren 2 competed against each other. Both teams played well and Warren 2 put up a fight, but Warren 1 still won. Both of the Warren teams then played again at 8 p.m. Warren 1 dominated Spurger as they won in just two matches. Warren 2 worked hard, but was unable to defeat Buna. Participating in the spring league gives the teams an opportunity to improve their skills in preparation for the fall season of volleyball games.

Both teams of the Lady Warriors spring league are scheduled to play again on Tuesday, May 27. Warren 1 will play at 5 p.m. against Buna and at 6 p.m. against Colmesneil. Warren 2 will play at 5 p.m. against Spurger and at 6 p.m. against Evadale.
