Warren basketball teams continue to fight

On Tuesday, November 26, the JV and varsity Lady Warrior basketball teams traveled to Jasper. The JV team played an excellent game both offensively and defensively. The Lady Warriors won the game 26-10. This is the JV team's first win of the season. The varsity Lady Warriors excelled as well defeating Jasper. The varsity Lady Warrior's preseason record is now 3-4.

The JV and varsity Warrior basketball teams traveled to Hamshire Fannett on Monday, November 25. Both teams played their best but both lost. On Tuesday, November 26, the JV and varsity Warrior basketball teams traveled to Splendora. The teams again worked hard and played strong, but lost.

On Monday, December 2, the seventh and eighth grade Lady Warrior basketball teams played Kountze. The seventh grade girls won their game with strong defensive and offensive plays and the eighth grade girls lost but played a well fought game. The teams hope to improve through hard work and dedication. Both junior high teams are planning for a great season.

Both the Lady Warrior and Warrior varsity basketball teams will travel to and compete in the Evadale tournament on December 5-7. This will be both of the teams' first tournaments of the season. On Friday, December 6, the seventh grade boys will play in the Devers basketball tournament and the eighth grade girls will play in the St. Anne's tournament. Then on Monday, December 9, the seventh and eighth grade Lady Warrior basketball teams will travel to Corrigan while the seventh and eighth grade boys will host Corrigan. On Tuesday, December 10, the JV and varsity Warrior basketball teams will host their first home game of the season against Hamshire Fannett while the JV and varsity Lady Warrior basketball teams will travel to Kirbyville. This will be the Lady Warrior's first district game.
