The Lady Eagles took on West Hardin last Monday in Woodville. Woodville opened the game on a 17-0 run and never looked backed. The Lady Oilers hit a free throw right before the end of the quarter to narrow the margin to 16 after one. This would be the only offense the West Hardin could manage as the Lady Oilers were blanked in the second quarter as Woodville expanded its lead to 30-1. Woodville coasted its way through the rest of the game winning 53-12. JuLisa Williams was high point girl with 13 points. Shawnacy Williams and McKenzie McGallon scored 11 and ten respectively. Six of McGallon's eleven points came off of three pointers. Kati Crenshaw contributed six steals and three assists for the Lady Eagles. The West Sabine tournament has been cancelled. Woodville will play at Jasper on Tuesday.
The boys had similar luck against Sabine Pass as the Eagles downed the Sharks 65-16 on Monday. Woodville found themselves on the losing side Tuesday. San Augustine outlasted Woodville 60-45. Woodville will return to action Friday as they host the Alto Yellow Jackets. The JV will play in the Hunting tournament Thursday through Saturday.
The middle school boys will host Kountze on Monday, while the girls travel to Kountze.
