Dogwood time in Tyler County has finally arrived with this weekend's Dogwood Festial of the Arts, the first of three weekends packed with family fun. There are plenty of activities to check out, so don't miss any of them.

Heritage Village Museum
Heritage Village Museum will be alive with activity Saturday, and you surely don't want to miss the annual Dinner on the Ground they host on Sunday. The menu is potluck, and the food is always great.
The Village will be open all day, and you can start there with a tour. The Dogwood Festival Exhibit is always interesting if you want to learn more about the history of the festival. There will be a quilt show; quilting, spinning and weaving; candle making; and chair caning demonstrations. You can also visit the Railroad Museum.

There will be handmade jewelry, pressed wildflower arts and many other interesting things.
You can also enjoy musical entertainment with Bluegrass, Gospel and Dulcimer music on hand.
On Sunday, James and Priscilla Hale will entertain diners with their special brand of folk music. The Southern Gospel Quartet "Delivered 24/7" will also entertain.

And don't miss the new Tyler County on Tour, a brand new addition to Festival of the Arts weekend.

Downtown
There will also be plenty to do in downtown Woodville Friday and Saturday. The Emporium Stage will feature Jim Boone and Jimmy Simmons in concert, highlighting Evening Music from the American Songbook at 7 p.m. March 21.

March 21-March 29 the Dogwood Time in Tyler County exhibition will feature local artists showcasing the beauty of Dogwood Festivities through multimedia in the Emporium Stage lobby. There will also be artists at work March 22 and March 29.
