Salvation Army Unit volunteers help 100 families

Salvation Army Unit volunteers help 100 families

You've probably seen the folks standing outside Walmart, ringing a bell and asking for contributions around Christmastime each year. Perhaps you don't know that their efforts go directly to helping families in our area. The efforts for the Salvation Army raised over $4,000, but still fell short of their goal. Here are some of the folks responsible for this good work. Shown from left are Walmart Store Manager Anthony Williams, Walmart Assistant Manager Becky Langston, Woodville Lions Club President Jan Smith, Woodville Rotary Club President Jerry Springfield, Tyler County Salvation Army Unit Chairman Bubba Sheffield and Rotary Chair for the effort Jim Knecht.
